How am I a commercial Artist.

I create art, because it is a means of expressing myself and allows me to be able to leave my impression on society. Art is a means of life for me, it’s how I survive, how I live, I some times fear what my life would be like without it (literally and figuratively). I’ve used several mediums in my life, starting with pencil, pen sharpie markers, to illustrator, photoshop, flash, however my passion is sepia on canvas. In 2012 a story about Joseph Kony, leader of a guerrilla group in Uganda went viral.  I was inspired to make personal art that reflected this situation. Working on this art satisfied my personal artistic desires, and needs. Ultimately helping me be a more productive and efficient artist in other areas of my life. I use art as a way of communicating, expressing my feelings on society as we live it, today. I believe that I accomplished this in the artwork that I have submitted.
